Artist Statement
Life-drawing has been a constant in my artistic life. I use it to enlarge my concepts of form, to experiment with techniques and as source material for work in other mediums. I also appreciate it for its own sake since drawing is like poetry: it seeks a distillation of the essence of the subject.
